ABOUT US
Founded by best friends Danique and Joyce. With a shared passion for PRE horses (Pura Raza Española) and a dedication to equestrian sports, they have built Hoeve Chávez into a name synonymous with quality and expertise.
our history
Hoeve Chávez started with Danique's first PRE horse, El-Roy1, also affectionately called "Roy". Roy was not only a horse, but a source of inspiration and motivation. He was bought when Danique was only 12 years old and became her faithful companion during difficult times.
Roy taught her not only about horse riding, but also about perseverance and the deep bond between man and animal. Losing Roy in 2015 was a huge blow to Danique, but the desire to maintain the connection with PRE horses eventually led to the purchase of Xerasmo Chávez, a stallion with a similar background. This experience has shaped Hoeve Chávez into what it is today: a place where horses are raised and trained with care and love.

The Team
Our team consists of dedicated professionals with a wealth of experience and knowledge in equestrian sports.
Danique
With a background in veterinary care and equine physiotherapy, Danique cares for the health of each horse. She is concerned with improving the breed by choosing the right stallions for the matching mares. She has ridden dressage at Z2 level and participated in the Hippisch Talenten Centrum (HTC). She also teaches dressage. Expert in nutrition. Moreover, a matchmaker between horse and rider.
Joyce
Brings experience in horse training and dressage. She specializes in groundwork and teaching young horses. Her patient approach helps our horses reach their full potential.
Angelique
With her broad expertise in, among other things, Horse Coaching, Light Therapy, Bemer blankets, trailer loading, energetic horse therapy, groundwork and Ice Vibes, she actively supports the company.
